My inspiration comes from different paths, one of them is the history of art that I see in museums and places that accumulate them, both in the western world and in the American, Latin American world. Another aspect arises from the current arts, how everything is changing and the same primal ideas are renewed and transformed into something more contemporary. Finally my own life route, the readings and experiences that I have had amalgamate becomes in the inspiration of images and sensations that I try to bring into my canvases.

Each painting of mine will transmit at least two things, one, the inspiration regarding objects, feelings and ideas that I have at that specific moment in my life. Always leaving the tale of the painting open for both me and whoever sees it to read different things, I want them to have some poem sensation, a more symbolic than literal reading. The other thing that is always seen in my paintings is my technical search, it is something that fascinates me and makes me read better now the works of the classical masters and also of the contemporaries, I always seek to grow as a painter, technically speaking, and thus transmit that joy that gives the act of painting when it does not turn out to be torture or submission to the model.
