Conde Contemporary heads to Chicago for the inaugural Chicago Art Fair at THE MART, presenting new and recent works by Andrés Conde, Natasha Kertes, Kevin Sloan and Pablo Santibáñez Servat. Join us October 7–10 in Booth 3072.

Kevin Sloan's paintings are filled with birds, animals, clocks, flowers, and mysterious objects, but they are not simply images of the natural world. Through a rich symbolic language, Sloan explores questions of memory, mortality, wonder, and our relationship to the living world. His work invites viewers to slow down, look carefully, and discover meaning that unfolds over time.

In this conversation with Stacy Conde, artist Kevin Sloan reflects on nature, memory, symbolism, and the sacred, exploring the personal experiences and observations that inform his richly allegorical paintings.
